E. coli and Heavy Metal Testing

Water samples are collected from three different beaches on Lakelse Lake and are sent to Northern Health for E. coli testing. On average the results are 2 per 100 mL (less than 200 per 100 mL is satisfactory for swimming). We have also tested the drinking water for heavy metals.
